Brighton, 15 June, 2023 – The annual conference of the European Forum for Studies of Policies for Research and Innovation (Eu-SPRI) network recently took place at the University of Sussex. The Eu-SPRI summer conference is the leading, annual European event on science, technology and innovation (STI) policy, providing a forum for scholars and policymakers in the areas of science, technology and innovation policy to exchange ideas, present emerging research and build valuable networks.
The event, held from June 14 to 16, 2023, focused on the theme "Research with Impact" and provided a platform for the TRANSFORMER project to present its innovative approach. Our colleague Dmitri Domanski, a representative from the TRANSFORMER project's partner organisation Business Metropole Ruhr GmbH, was among the presenters. Domanski's talk centred on the project's concept of Transition Super Labs (TSLs) and their contributions to regional development and social innovations, offering insights into the real-world applications of TSLs and their significance within the innovation landscape.
The Eu-SPRI conference hosts one of the most important and influential networks in the areas of science, technology and innovation policy. The TRANSFORMER project's participation underscored its alignment with the conference theme and its commitment to future-proof solutions.
